Noah, Daniel and Job

A Special Message to 21st Century Christians

Christianity was born in an atmosphere of opposition. From the birth of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to His death, resurrection and ascension, opposition has plagued the Christian realm.

More than two thousand years later, opposition has not abated. Actually, it is worse now than it was in ages past. (Most of the nations that dominate the present world are led by people who oppose authentic Christianity.)

Much of Western Europe has turned to human philosophy and science; thus, seeking to leave the Word of God (the Holy Bible) to the annals of history and the shelves of museum display cases.

Many in the United States and America evidently no longer consider the Word of God (the Holy Bible) as being Truth; thus, they too have embraced human philosophy and science. Christianity is clearly under attack and opposition is rampant.

In Ezekiel chapter 14, God highlights three men that stood alone for Him. Noah, Daniel and Job each encountered opposition for their faith but they did not cave to the withering opposition; rather, they were strong in faith and succeeded in living lives that glorified Almighty God.

Like Noah, Daniel and Job, the 21st Century Christian needs to fully embrace the Word of Almighty God and stand firm in the face of opposition. In the current atmosphere, that can most likely be done by the individual Christian. Groups of Christians working together would make the tasks easier; but, given the present atmosphere (in the USA) it is not easy to find groups of Christians that are prepared to get the job done.

Many Christians in the United States of America are conflicted. They are being bombarded daily with the "religion" of human philosophy and science. When at church, they hear a different message. Many are confused and do not know what to believe. It is a very serious situation.

Some laws in the United States of America are in direct opposition to the Word of Almighty God. That further complicates matters. People of little or no faith are often tricked into following human philosophy and science rather than the Eternal Truth that is found in the Word of Almighty God (the Holy Bible).

The required activity of working in groups can subject Christians to the errors of "group-think". Secular "group-think" is often a byproduct of human philosophy and science; thus, Christians in the group are likely to be led away from the Word of Almighty God and into the errors of human philosophy and science.

The situation is serious, very serious. The Christian that would remain true to the Word of Almighty God (the Holy Bible) is placed in a very difficult situation (particularly since their income and livelihood often depend on their participation in "group-think" teams).

What is a Christian to do? We find guidance in the Holy Bible. Noah, an individual, believed and obeyed Almighty God. Daniel, an individual, believed and obeyed Almighty God. Job, an individual, believed and obeyed Almighty God. Are you willing to do the same?
